We currently have a successful Year 7, 8 & 9 cohort. Unlike other schools, we believe that it is better to build year on year until we have our full cohort of 5 year groups. Our approach ensures that the needs of our students are prioritised.Get in touch →
Pupil Premium funding is provided in addition to the main school funding - aiming to address the underlying inequalities between students by ensuring that funding tackles disadvantage, reaches the students who need it most. In most schools in Oldham the majority of young people from our poorest families leave school without gaining 5 GCSEs Grade A to C including English and Maths.
At Collective Spirit we believe this to be unacceptable and the school was created to challenge the failings of the existing education system
We use proven techniques that guarantee success.
Essentially, we are an inspirational small school, with a grammar school offer for ordinary families who have the highest academic aspirations for their children and simply cannot afford the cost of such a school.
We do not select by faith and our catchment area is inclusive enough to be able to take in pupils across Oldham.
The needs of our students are put ahead of all existing teaching practices and doctrine. Our class sizes are smaller than any other secondary school in Oldham, our teachers work cleverer and longer hours and we have an enrichment programme which rivals Independent fee paying schools.Find Out More →
